 Question 47 -Who is The Great Whore?

Great Whore of Revelation - Satan's Bride?
If we could pull back Satan's curtain of Delusion, and see what he is doing to make the masses of the World think they are safely tuck away in the truths that will eventually take them away into Paradise, we'd be shocked. As Christians, our biggest shock would be to see how Satan is setting up a masterful delusion for them. They'd see him devising a plan to lull them into believing they are safely in the ranks of the Bride of Christ, while unwittingly becoming high ranking members of the Great Whore! Just as Christ's Bride is His Church, Satan's Great Whore  is Antichrist's Church. When John saw, "All the world wonder after the Beast," the wonders worshiping that Beast are the Great Whore.

 The Whore THINKS She's Christ's Bride!
This can't be stressed enough! Some think being a member of a popular Christian Church automatically qualifies them as the Bride of Christ. Some are duped into joining cults. Others say that staying out of cults is the key!

Babylon is The GREAT WHORE
Everywhere in the Old and New Testaments, if a verse addresses Babylon in terms of Prophecy, the subject is addressing the Great Whore. So, let's go to Scripture and learn what we must do to not be part of Her. Antichrist, the Beast, Babylon, and the Whore, are all are OWNED and OPERATED by Satan.

How Many People will be part of the Great Whore?
Study Text #1 - Rev. 13:3
"And ALL the WORLD wondered after the Beast (Antichrist)."
Sounds hopeless, but, John said a "Remnant" would refuse to be part of the Whore. John prophesied that this "Remnant" will "Keep the Commandments of God and have the Testimony of Jesus Christ!" Let's look:
Study Text #2 - Rev.12:17
"And the Dragon (Satan) was wroth with the Woman (God's true people or True Church) and went to make war with the Remnant of her seed, who keep the Commandments of God, and have the Testimony of Jesus Christ!"
Also:"Here is the patience of the Saints! Here are they that KEEP the COMMANDMENTS of God, and have the Faith of Jesus"(Vs. 14:12).

Christ's Bride Obeys God's Law! What should we suppose the Great Whore does?
While almost the whole earth is wondering after and worshiping the Beast, and becoming the Great Whore, a small remnant are obeying God's Commandments.

Jesus Calls His Bride to Leave the Whore
Study Text #3 - Rev.18:4
"And I heard another voice from Heaven saying, Come out of her (Babylon - the Whore) My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
So, how can a person "come out of Babylon" and become part of Christ's Bride? Since the Bride "Keeps God's Commandments," would it be safe to say that declaring, "Grace Frees Me From Obeying God's Law" might mean we need to "Come out of Babylon?"

John records 3 Angels with 3 messages just before Jesus Returns to take His people, His Bride, to Heaven. Following is the Second Angel's Message: 

The Babylon is Fallen, is Fallen!
Study Text #4 - Rev.14:8
"And there followed another (Second) angel saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." As we saw above, there was a voice from Heaven saying "Come out of her My people." If that Voice is sent out just before Jesus comes, is that call going forth now? Is Jesus calling His Bride out of Babylon now. If so, Pastor, no doubt you want to be a part of that call.

The Third Angel Followed 
After the Second Angel's warning, a Third Angel warned of the Mark of the Beast, saying that those wearing it shall, "drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation" (Rev.14:10).
The very last words John gave as he ended the Message of the Third Angel shows the line of demarcation between those wearing the Mark of the Beast and Christ's Bride:

Study Text #5 - Rev.14:12
"Here is the patience of the Saints. Here are they that keep the Commandments of God and the FAITH of JESUS."
We can go completely through Revelation looking at Babylon the Great Whore, and we'll continually see her disobeying God's Commandments, while the Bride of Christ is always "keeping the Commandments of God!"

Satan's Bait-and-Switch - THE WHORE for THE BRIDE
Could Satan's pitiful stunt be more obvious? Yet we know that "All the World will Wonder after and Worship the Beast" (Rev.13:3-4)!

Dear Reader, let us continue to pray for God's Spirit to guide us so that we are NOT part of the Great Whore! Let's pray for God's Spirit to guide us as we prepare to meet Him!! Check other Websites listed below.
